Forest School Session 5

Session 5 “Special Places”

The students returned to Clanger and Picket Wood where they were supported to find a clearing that they could use for this session. They listened to the story of the “Owl Babies” before going to explore the area and look for natural materials that they could use to make a nest for their Owl Baby. The group identified the materials that they had found using picture cards. Once the nests were made the Owl Baby was placed inside and the students selected the tree where they wanted their Owl Baby to live. They finished their session by having a walk through the woods.
