Friends of Larkrise

The Friends of Larkrise School is a group of interested parents, carers and associates, whose purpose is to support the school through a combination of fundraising and active participation within the school community.

As a parent/carer of a child attending the school, you are automatically a member of the Friends of Larkrise.

Our principal aim is to promote strong links between the school and its extended community and at the same time to help raise funds for a wide range of needs.

We are ‘managed’ by a committee of volunteer parents/carers who meet at least once a term with the Head Teacher and governor representatives to plan events and report on current activities.

Please take a few minutes to browse through the information on this page to see what sort of things we are up to! We are a dynamic bunch and are always pleased to welcome offers of support and/or new members to our committee. To find out how to get involved at a level which suits you; from simply attending ‘Friends’ events, through to fund raising or even volunteering your time, skills or talents, please contact any of the committee members by email via the addresses at the top of this page. Every offer of support will be warmly welcomed, however much or little!

The Friends of Larkrise School 100 Club

The Friends of Larkrise have been running our successful 100 Club for three years and we are now ‘recruiting’ new members for 2017 – 2018. If you’ve never joined before, take a few minutes to read through the information below. Then simply fill in the application form and send it to school, c/o The Friends of Larkrise School at the address below. We look forward to welcoming as many new members as possible!

What is a 100 Club?

100 clubs are a well-established and successful way of fundraising for many schools and local charities nationwide.

How do they work?

When you join you are given a number which is entered into a monthly draw.  You pay one sum of £12.00 per year which entitles you to one entry per month.   So: £1.00 per month x 12 = £12.00   A percentage of the money goes into the prize fund and the remainder is used directly to benefit the children at Larkrise School.

Who can join?

Anyone! The 100 Club is open to everyone, so your family, friends and neighbours can all join in and buy shares. You can purchase as many ‘shares’ of £12.00 as you like. Hard copies of the application form are available from school – or download it now.   So….the more members we have – the higher the cash prize fund each month – and the more money we raise for the school!

Please complete the form and return it to school
